A series of animated sequences for the new series on Hulu, from chef David Chang and Academy Award–winning documentary filmmaker Morgan Neville.The Next Thing You Eat is a six-episode docuseries that explores the seismic changes happening all around us and what they mean for the way we'll eat in the future.

In 2011, two years after moving to Los Angeles to work at Mun2/NBC Universal, the first issue of "Lucky Peach" magazine, created for David Chang, was launched. It blew my mind. I never thought a magazine like that could exist. That punk cocktail of essays on food, art, design, recipes, chef interviews, etc., packaged with gritty, streetwise graphics, was unique.
During those years, my wife, Judy Cantor-Navas, and I collaborated with Food Republic magazine, publishing articles about the best food trucks in LA, a guide to street barbecues, a hacker menu, and an introduction to tapas, among many others.
David Chang, the irreverent, outspoken chef who experimented with new ingredients and mixed culinary cultures, ended up becoming the celebrity chef of the moment.
Ten years later, Hulu created the series "The Next Thing You Eat / David Chang," where David humorously and controversially explores the future of food.
It was a very fun project that I worked on closely with Jason Carpenter, searching for an animation style that would fit the stories Chang was telling
